San Diego-based Sentre has unveiled plans to develop Villea at Lake Murray, a townhome project in the Lake Murray neighborhood of La Mesa, Calif., which is in San Diego County. Upon completion, the development will feature 27 townhomes for rent, each averaging more than 1,000 square feet.
Common amenities will include a clubhouse and lifestyle center, fitness center, spa, barbecue station, secured parking and community-wide wireless Internet. Units will feature attached garages, stainless steel appliances, hardwood flooring, central heat and air and in-unit washers and dryers.
Urban Edge
“We hope to infuse an urban edge into this traditionally suburban setting,” said Doug Arthur, president and CEO of Sentre. “We will offer residences with direct access garages in a lower density site plan that’s walkable to Lake Murray.”
Located at 5565 Lake Murray Blvd., Villea is slated to open in the fall of 2018. Rental rates are expected to start near $2,500 per month for a two-bed, 2.5-bath townhome with attached two-car garage.
Sentre tapped local architect Carrier Johnson, as well as Cannon Constructors, to carry out design and construction of the property. Villea at Lake Murray is one of several multifamily properties the company has acquired or developed during the past six years under the “Sentre Living” brand.
