SALT Development has finished the first two phases of the 4th West Apartments, a $100 million development consisting of 373 ultra-luxury multifamily units in downtown Salt Lake City.
“For those familiar with Utah and more specifically, Park City, they will appreciate the approach that SALT Development took to bring the ‘Park City resort experience’ into the urban setting of Salt Lake City,” Thomas Vegh, SALT Development’s managing partner, told MHN. “Seasoned institutional multifamily investors have toured 4th West and came to the same conclusion; there is no other multifamily project that offers such a high level of resort experiences.”
A third phase, which will include another 120 units and amenities, is scheduled to be finished in the third quarter of 2017.
Located at 255 North 400 West St., 4th West Apartments consists of 73 studio units, 256 one- bedroom/one-bathroom units and 164 two-bedroom/two-bathroom units and all contain upgraded stainless appliances, washers and dryers, built in closets, large decks and Anderson Windows.
Amenities include a bike storage room with storage lockers, a custom bike wash station, a private dog park, two dog wash stations and a business center with conference rooms and offices for rent. 4th West also provides automated package handling with a Parcel Pending system to quickly deliver those special orders from Amazon.com.
There’s also an Olympic-size swimming pool, two heated spas, a sundeck with cabanas and rentable event space.
A big highlight is The SportClub at 4th WEST, featuring a 16-screen video wall to catch the March Madness action, a TruGolf live-action golf simulator with access to hundreds of golf courses, pool tables, shuffle board and poker table and a full-size commercial bar.
“It is a terrific place to unwind,” Vegh said. “In the adjacent courtyard, 4th WEST residents enjoy nine holes of putting greens around a water features, fire pit and built-in BBQs to entertain family and friends.”
The property is located one block from the NBA Jazz Arena and Gateway Center entertainment complex and just minutes from City Creek, University of Utah, and Salt Lake City Airport via three on-site public transportation options: TRAX, FrontRunner UTA and UTA Buses.
“It is no longer a secret that Salt Lake City is one of the most desired places for companies to relocate and build their fortunes,” Vegh said. “With a highly educated population, great quality of life, and very limited luxury living options available, SALT Development was convinced that Salt Lake City was ready for something extraordinary and determined to bring the Urban Resort concept to fruition.”
