Ryan Cos., Grand Living Plan 2 Luxury Senior Communities in Texas
The communities include the Grand Living at Riverstone in Sugar Land and Grand Living at Georgetown. Both will have 180 units and feature an age-in-place model.
Ryan Companies US Inc. and Grand Living are planning to develop two senior living communities in Texas:
Grand Living at Riverstone and Grand Living at Georgetown. The projects are in Sugar Land, a suburb of Houston, and Georgetown, a suburb of Austin, respectively.
Each Texas project will include 180 units of independent living, assisted living and memory care. The communities will follow an age-in-place model, and amenities and services will include 24-hour on-site staffing, multiple dining venues, a performance theater, a spa and salon, an outdoor pool, a club room and a library.
Including these two, Grand Living and Ryan Companies have eight communities currently under development in Florida, Iowa and now Texas. Both projects are expected to break ground in early 2019.
Aiming for Upscale
“Grand Living has been delivering upscale senior living communities in Florida and Iowa since 2015, now Texas will be the home of their next two,” said Eric Anderson, vice president of development, Ryan Companies. “Aside from the amenities offered, Grand Living offers the best healthcare and lifestyle service offerings available in the market.”
Grand Living at Riverstone will be at 4814 LJ Parkway in Sugar Land, west of Houston, while Grand Living at Georgetown will be at north of Austin at 1330 W. University Avenue. Both Texas communities will be developed and built by Ryan Companies, designed by Ryan Companies A + E and managed by Grand Living.
