ROSS Makes First Property Management Foray in N.C.
Besides overseeing the day-to-day operations of the North Carolina community, ROSS says it will aim to strengthen the apartment's digital presence and online reputation while giving it an advertising boost.
Winston-Salem, N.C.—Cedar Grove Capital has tapped ROSS Management Services to take over management of its Twin City Apartments, a 285-unit property in Winston-Salem, N.C. The assignment is the first one in North Carolina for ROSS, which specializes in multifamily property management.
Besides overseeing the day-to-day operations of the property, ROSS says it will aim to strengthen Twin City’s digital presence and online reputation while giving it an advertising boost. The new management also will implement upgrades and improve on-site operational efficiency.
Twin City consists of town home and garden-style apartments and features lofts, one-, two-and three-bedroom units. Common amenities include an in-ground pool, recreation room, laundry facilities and off-street parking.
The community is near the 1.5 million-square-foot Hanes Mall. Nearby recreational outlets include Parkland Park, which is within walking distance and equipped with tennis courts. The property’s name refers to a nickname for Winston-Salem, which is the state’s fifth largest metro area; in 2012, CBS MoneyWatch listed it as one of the 10 best places to retire.
With the addition of Twin City Apartments, Bethesda, Md.-based ROSS Management Services currently operates 30 apartment properties, representing more than 10,000 units, in the mid-Atlantic region.
