RKW Residential Expands Management Portfolio

Starlight U.S. Multi-​Family selected the firm to handle the management of two properties in Atlanta and Alpharetta.

RKW Residential has assumed the leasing and management of The Mill at Westside and Artesia Big Creek, located in Atlanta and Alpharetta, Ga., respectively.

The firm is also providing consulting services for multifamily developments in the state, which amount to a combined 2,000 units. 

The properties total a combined 551 units and are owned by Starlight U.S. Multi-​Family.

The 2017-completed The Mill at Westside is located in Atlanta’s Fulton County, at 903 Huff Road NW, and spans 5.4 acres with four five-story buildings. Amenities at the pet-friendly community include a rooftop swimming pool, a fitness center, a clubhouse, laundry facilities and a resident social lounge with city views.

The Mill at Westside is convenient to two shopping centers and numerous restaurants. It’s also 2.2 miles from the Bankhead MARTA transit station and less than 5 miles from downtown Atlanta. The community is within 5 miles of several higher education institutions, including Georgia Institute of Technology in West Midtown, Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School and Morehouse College. 

Expansion continues

RKW is also overseeing the recently built Artesia Big Creek, located at 6405 Rex Lane in Alpharetta. The property features one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts, with 9-foot ceilings, modern track and pendant lighting and granite countertops.

Community amenities include a saltwater swimming pool with sundeck, a fitness center, a social lounge, a yoga area, a dog spa, a resident cinema theater, a bike repair and storage room, a putting green, a dog spa and the Luxer One package system.

The property is close shopping and dining options, including the Halycon retail and restaurant development, and offers easy access to Highway 400. Several major employers are in close proximity, including ADP, UPS, Verizon, McKesson Corp. and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

RKW also manages other Starlight properties including LaVie SouthPark in Charlotte, N.C., and Southpoint Crossing and Lassiter at North Hills in Durham and Raleigh, N.C.
