Richard Katzenstein Joins Freddie Mac Multifamily as Managing Regional Director, Northeast Region

Richard Katzenstein has joined Freddie Mac Multifamily, and will lead the Northeast Region as its managing regional director.

Washington, D.C.—Richard Katzenstein has joined Freddie Mac Multifamily, and will lead the Northeast Region as its managing regional director. His first day was Jan. 7, 2013.

Katzenstein brings nearly 30 years of commercial real estate experience to his new role. He previously worked for Tannery Brook Partners, where as managing director, he established an origination network in the Northeast, helped create an origination strategy for their business and originated senior and subordinate debt for both multifamily and commercial properties.

Prior to his leadership role at Tannery Brook Partners, Katzenstein held key management positions at several real estate finance firms, including Vector Debt Solutions, MMA Realty Capital LLC and MONY Realty Capital Inc. He holds a B.S. in Marketing from SUNY Albany and an M.B.A. in finance from Long Island University.
