Related Group JV Breaks Ground on Miami Condo Tower

Related Group, in partnership with Alta Developers, has commenced construction on Casa Bella Residences by B&B Italia, a condominium tower totaling 319 units in downtown Miami’s Arts and Cultural District. This is the first residential partnership for the renowned Italian design house, which has collaborated with famous brands such as Rolex, Hermès and Rolls-Royce.

The architect in charge is Arquitectonica, while B&B Italia’s Creative Director Piero Lissoni is the interior designer. The high-rise development already has more than 80 percent of its units in contract, well ahead of its scheduled delivery in 2025. 

Fortune Development Sales has been tapped as exclusive sales and marketing agent for the condominium project, with Realtor Associate Olga Monson leading the sales team’s efforts.

Located at 1400 Biscayne Blvd., the 56-story condominium tower will include one- to four-bedroom units with kitchens equipped with Sub-Zero refrigerators and freezers, as well as paneled dishwashers. The residences will also feature master bathrooms with porcelain flooring and powder rooms.

Casa Bella Residences by B&B Italia will also include the Casa Bella Penthouse Collection, comprising 10 homes with seven different floorplans on the project’s 54th floor, two of which will be triplex residences with private rooftop terraces, each featuring spa pools and summer kitchens with panoramic water views. There will also be a pair of duplex penthouses spanning 4,100 square feet and 4,560 square feet.

Indoor and outdoor amenities

Casa Bella Residences by B&B Italia will also feature two floors of common-area amenities, including a fitness center, a wellness center, a business hub, a game room, a playroom, a cinema, a wine room, a business center with a conference room, coworking spaces, a pet spa, private yoga rooms, as well as spa facilities with multiple on-demand services.

The outdoor amenity package will include a pool deck with Italian-inspired gardens designed by landscape architect Enzo Enea, a luxury spa, a swimming pool with a poolside bar and a café, private cabanas and a pickleball court. Other amenities will be located at the condominium tower’s 56th floor, where there will be a rooftop swimming pool and terrace, along with a private observatory and panoramic views of Biscayne Bay.

Construction has recently begun on another luxury condo development in Miami. In October, Terra officially broke ground on THE WELL Bay Harbor Islands in the city’s Bay Harbor Islands, a condo and office project that will total 54 condominiums. At the time of the groundbreaking, the residences were already 50 percent sold.

Earlier in May, Related Group also commenced construction on a luxury condo project in Pompano Beach, Fla. Casamar Residences will be a 21-story development totaling 119 units, with completion scheduled for 2025.
