Related Group Breaks Ground on Pompano Beach Condo Tower

The Related Group has broken ground on Casamar Residences, a 21-story condominium project in Pompano Beach, Fla. Arquitectonica and The Rockwell Group are the designers behind the 119-unit development, scheduled for completion in 2025.
Located on a 283-foot stretch of oceanfront, the luxury community will offer a range of amenities, including sunrise and sunset pools, a Promenade Lounge designed for relaxation and entertainment, a fitness center equipped with saunas and multiple open-air lounges.
Additional planned amenities at Casamar include a virtual reality golf simulator room, a pickleball court, as well as access to various aquatic activities and 24/7 concierge services. The floor plans range from 1,000 to 3,900 square feet, with each unit featuring private elevators that open directly into the residence. The layouts of the units are designed to provide open and spacious living areas.
Set to take shape at 911 N. Ocean Blvd., Casamar Residences will be positioned 16 miles from the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Pompano Beach Pier, Pompano Beach Airpark and Hillsboro Club and within 3 miles of the site.
Casamar marks Related’s second venture in Pompano Beach, following the launch and complete sell-out of Solemar in March 2020.
Navigating challenges and opportunities within Florida’s condo market
After the pandemic, Florida’s condominium market witnessed a surge in out-of-state buyers who were drawn by the allure of the “Florida lifestyle” and the prospect of lower tax obligations, according to a recent outlook on the 2023 condo market. Luxury condo developments in South Florida are anticipated to maintain their success, as they are less influenced by interest rates, due to the targeted buyer pool and the prevalence of cash deals.
Earlier this year, U.S. Development unveiled plans for Salato Residences, a luxury, boutique condominium project featuring 40 residences also in Pompano Beach.
