Red Capital Group Expands Into San Francisco
The firm has tapped Patrick McAllister as its new director of multifamily originations, building up its presence in the Bay Area and Pacific Northwest.
Red Capital Group (RED) has hired Patrick McAllister to serve as director of multifamily originations in the firm’s newly opened San Francisco office. His role will involve overseeing the expansion of the firm’s lending operations in both the Bay Area and Pacific Northwest.
McAllister brings more than 20 years of experience to the organization, largely focused in the San Francisco Bay Area. He most recently worked as executive vice president with JLL, a role he entered in early 2017. Prior to this, he served as director for Prudential Mortgage Capital, now known as PGIM Real Estate Finance, for just shy of five years. From 2008 to 2012, he held the position of director with Wells Fargo Multifamily Capital, during which he oversaw Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loan originations.
In October, RED arranged a $7.8 million construction loan for an adaptive reuse project near Harrisburg, Pa.
