A new condominium building will soon arise at 5015-5019 N. Clark St. in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood, as Quest Realty Group has bought the 19,000-square-foot site for $2.2 million. A team of brokers from SVN represented the buyer as well as the seller in the deal.

The site comprises two adjacent parcels that used to be the home of Man’s Country, a private club and bathhouse opened almost 50 years ago by Chuck Renslow. On the opposite parcel there is a men’s lifestyle storefront which will continue to operate under a long-term lease agreement.

Quest Realty Group is currently in the process of obtaining neighborhood approval to start construction work at the condominium building. A number of construction permits have been recently issued in the area as several vintage properties are turned into apartment buildings, including the 30-unit community at 3264-70 N. Clark St.

The team of brokers involved in the transaction included Assistant Vice President Tim Rasmussen, Advisor Christian Peppler, Associate Advisor Shane Sackett and Senior Advisor Marcus Sullivan, all of them part of SVN’s Restaurant Resource Group.
