Precor to Include Nike Strength Free Weights Across Product Offerings

The company intends to integrate Nike Strength's free weights alongside its own gym equipment offerings.

Precor has announced a partnership with Nike affiliate Dimension 6 Fitness, where the company will offer Nike Strength’s free weights across its product lines. Precor sells manufactures and sells fitness equipment to multifamily communities, commercial gyms, office spaces, country clubs hotels and private homes.  

The company intends to combine Nike Strength’s dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells, plates and other accessories with its proprietary benches, racks and smith machines, Alongside the new product collaboration, Precor will integrate Nike Strength’s equipment into their sales and support services in addition to recommending them to both new and existing customers.

Dimension 6’s partnership with Nike goes back to 2023, when the companies announced a licensing partnership. Dimension 6 now oversees the development and design of Nike’s strength training equipment.

Fitness in demand

According to data from the National Multifamily Housing Council and Grace Hills’ Renter Preferences Survey Report, 93 percent of respondents said that they have some form of fitness offering at their community, while nearly a quarter report using theirs a few times each week. The most in-demand equipment included free weights, weight machines and cardio equipment.
