Kin, the residential housing brand created by Common and Tishman Speyer, has opened its first Brooklyn location, Kin on Union. The brand created last year is tailored towards families living in and near cities.

Located at 305 Union Ave., the property has convenient access to the L, G, M and J trains. Additionally, the 19-unit community is situated within the Williamsburg neighborhood and is near grocery stores, restaurants, parks, playgrounds, daycares, preschools and schools. The development was completed last year by EcoRise Development LLC.

Kid on Union offers residents a mix of studio, one-, two- and three- bedroom units, featuring energy efficient appliances, in-unit washer-dryers, private balconies and patios. The seven-story building offers amenities including a family-friendly residents lounge, on-site gym, bicycle storage, stroller parking and on-site garage parking with electric charger adaptable spaces. Residents also have access to a package room with refrigerator storage, baby-proofing kits and virtual doorman system with smartphone compatibility.

Through the Kin application, residents will be able to access a nanny-sharing platform, curated family programming, community chat rooms and discount perks for local and national brands.
