Innit Takes Multifamily Amenities to a New Level

Offering food-retail API services, the app makes use of location-based preferences that help customers plan their meals, shop and prepare automated cooking.

Innit—a Silicon Valley-based food and eating tech company—has launched a mobile app that provides individually tailored nutrition plans, allergy alerts and ingredient analysis, thus taking multifamily interior amenities to a new level. By way of furnishing units with Innit-operable devices, property managers could gain leverage for repurposing certain market-rate communities into luxurious—and, consequentially, more expensive—living environments. Offering food-retail API services, the app makes use of location-based preferences that help customers plan their meals, shop and prepare automated cooking.

Innit features how-to videos and real-time management instructions that include cooking temperature, mode and timing. Moreover, users can customize every element of the meal, including protein, starch, vegetables and sauces.

The app also connects with GE appliances and Bosch smart ovens through the use of Home Connect technology. Philips Kitchen Appliances, Perfect Co. and Chef’d are just some of the other companies that partnered with Innit. The company integrated its platform with Google Assistant. From navigating personalized cooking instructions to controlling smart appliances, users can cook completely hands-free using just their voice. More recently, Innit has also partnered with LG Electronics USA to deliver a new generation of smart kitchen solutions.
