HFF Hires Multi-Housing Debt, Equity Director

Rick Salinas brings more than 15 years of experience to the company’s San Francisco office, following previous roles with Berkadia and Wells Fargo.

HFF has hired Rick Salinas to join the firm’s San Francisco office as a director, focusing on multifamily debt and equity transactions. Salinas brings more than 15 years of commercial real estate finance experience to his new role. He will report to Charles Halladay, senior managing director & co-head of the office, according to Commercial Mortgage Alert.

Prior to his move to HFF, Salinas worked in a senior role with Berkadia for approximately five years. In this position, he worked primarily on multifamily finance, including government-sponsored enterprise (GSE), for properties primarily in the western and southwest regions of the U.S. Before Berkadia, Salinas spent 10 years with Wells Fargo as a senior analyst specializing in CMBS and GSE lending for multifamily properties.

Salinas holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of San Francisco in political science and a communications degree from San Francisco State University. Additionally, he studied accounting and finance at the University of California Berkeley Extension in San Francisco.
