BNE Real Estate Group to Begin Leasing New Jersey Property
- Apr 13, 2021
BNE Real Estate Group will add another community to its Harrison, N.J., revitalization efforts when Dey & Bergen begins leasing in May.
The company partnered with Hornrock Properties and Canoe Brook Development for its residential project at 1 Bergen St. BNE broke ground on the community in winter 2020 and is expected to finish construction and start leasing efforts in May. BNE tapped Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners to design the community and Mary Cook Associates to design the interiors.
The 242-unit community will offer studios, one- and two-bedroom floorplans that start at 489 square feet. The units will be built with 9-foot ceilings, oversized windows and wine storage while select units have private, furnished outdoor space. The community will feature 45,000 square feet of amenities including a pool, fitness center, yoga studio, co-working lounge, kid’s playroom, outdoor turf area, indoor and outdoor bars, two dog runs and barbecues and firepits. Residents also get access to a shuttle that will bring them to the nearby PATH station.
Located at the intersection of Dey and Bergen Streets, the community will be across the river from The Prudential Center and New Jersey Performing Arts Center while also being a approximately 20-minute commute on the PATH train from Manhattan.
BUILDING IN HARRISON AND BEYOND
Prior to Dey & Bergen, BNE developed several other communities next to its latest on the town’s riverfront. A couple blocks away, the company also built River Park at Harrison, a condominium project, and two rental communities, Water’s Edge and One Harrison.
Outside Harrison, BNE has developed several other communities in New Jersey, including the 227-unit The Link at Aberdeen Station that landed a $52 million refinancing in April 2019. The developer also formed a joint venture with Sterling Properties in May 2018 to develop One William, a 185-unit luxury rental community in Englewood, N.J.
