Alliance Taps Local Artists to Design GA Communities
- Mar 30, 2017
Atlanta—Alliance Residential, a private multifamily developer, has collaborated with local artists and designers in the development process of two Atlanta apartment communities. The completed properties are situated in Atlanta and Sandy Springs, Ga.
Located at 811 Juniper St., the 218-unit Broadstone Midtown features a classic art-deco theme with a modern twist. The luxury apartment community includes artwork and murals completed by local artists and curated by Hope Cohn. Graphic art collaborative Loss Prevention will be designing and painting an exterior mural on the building, inspired by the history of the surrounding neighborhood. The property offers 12 walk-up town home units, including one- and two-bedroom units ranging in size from 870 to1,290 square feet with white quartz countertops, classic gold hardware and premium stainless steel GE appliances. Property amenities include an elevated resort deck with a glass-faced pool, several community terraces and outdoor games.
The second asset, Broadstone Springs was developed in such a way as to provide a balance of spacious units and private courtyards, as well as connectivity to the surrounding park and trail system. Located at 6558 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs, Ga., the 222-unit community includes a two-story custom green wall, fountain-filled courtyards, gourmet grills and fireplaces, pool, an outdoor clubroom and an open-air yoga room. The project had eight 2,110-square-feet town homes with gas stoves and fireplaces, wine refrigerators and private garages. Well-known recycled wood artists Sons of Sawdust designed and installed the mantles in the units. Both properties will welcome their first residents this month.
