Pinnacle Taps New VP to Run Northern CA Region

Mark DeGraff has been promoted to the role of vice president with Pinnacle Housing Group, a multifamily property management firm. In his new position at the company’s Walnut Creek, Calif. office, DeGraff will provide support to four regional property managers with a combined portfolio of more than 5,000 apartments located throughout Sacramento, the San Francisco peninsula and the East and South Bay.

DeGraff began his career with Pinnacle in mid-1999, where he worked as an investment manager for approximately eight years. Following his departure, he became a regional manager for Equity Residential, a position he held for almost three years. Rejoining Pinnacle in 2009 as a property manager, he was selected for the company’s leader mentorship program and soon was promoted to a senior regional property manager role. DeGraff worked with Pacific Urban Residential, the company’s largest client in California, and has experience with a wide range of multifamily properties, including market rate, affordable and student assets. His new portfolio will include both new construction properties, as well as stabilized communities.

Pinnacle operates more than 172,000 residential units nationwide, and the company recently opened an 80-unit affordable housing community in Oakland Park, Fla.
