Peak Campus to Manage 816-Bed Student Housing Community
The community serves students who attend Texas State University.
Atlanta—The management of University Heights, an 816-bed student housing property serving students at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, has been awarded to Atlanta-based Peak Campus.
“We really like the San Marcos market. However, there is no question that it is a crowded market from a student housing perspective,” Peak Campus senior vice president Casey Peterson told MHN. “Standing out in a market like San Marcos takes a well-crafted marketing plan and near-flawless execution. We are excited for the challenge and look forward to bringing our platform and resident-focused experience to the students at Texas State.”
University Heights features fully-furnished one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom units, with bed-to-bath parity and high-end features. Recent substantial capital improvements include a new state-of-the-art fitness center, high-tech computer lab, soccer field and clubhouse. Students can also take advantage of a number of other high-end amenities, including a pair of resort-style pools with a hot tub, two basketball courts, two sand volleyball courts, water volleyball, dog park, tanning, outdoor gas barbecue grill, disc golf course and gazebo area.
The community is located just minutes away from the Texas State University campus, as well as shopping, dining and recreational opportunities.

Peak Campus operates through a group of affiliated companies that have developed more than 14,000 beds of purpose-built student housing and now manage more than 46,000 beds.
