Peak Campus Selected to Manage Texas Student Housing
The 348-bed, 183-unit community is currently under construction in San Marcos. Upon completion, slated for fall 2018, the property will serve Texas State University.

Peak Campus has been awarded management of a 183-unit community located in San Marcos, Texas. The property, dubbed Haven at Thorpe Lane, is currently under construction and is anticipated for delivery in the fall of 2018. Recently, the company added two more student housing assets to its Texas portfolio.Â
The 348-bed mid-rise community is situated on 2.4 acres at 1351 Thorpe Lane, within walking distance from the Texas State University campus. The unit mix will include one and two-bedroom floor plans ranging in size from 560 to 945 square feet, with premium finishes and expansive interiors furnished with custom-designed furniture. Units feature nine-foot ceilings, wood-style plank flooring, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and walk-in closets.
Common area amenities include a resort-style pool, rooftop basketball court, sand volleyball court, 24-hour outdoor grilling lounge, fitness center, tanning beds, business center, clubhouse and covered parking. In addition, upon completion, the community will feature 2,060 square feet of retail space.
