Slideshow: Peak Campus to Manage 2 Florida Communities
The two properties total 372 units, and one is just minutes away from the University of Florida campus.
Jacksonville—Peak Campus was awarded property management of Campus Club and Gateway at Glades, two student communities serving the students in Gainesville, Fla. The properties traded for $35.4 million to Rosemurgy Properties in a March portfolio transaction, according to Yardi Matrix.
Campus Club is located less than 3 miles away from the University of Florida. The 252-unit property features three- and four-bedroom fully furnished units with washers and dryers. The garden-style all-inclusive community also offers a resort-style pool, 24-hour fitness center, 24-hour study rooms, dog park, computer lab and a basketball court. Gateway at Glades is situated .3 miles away from Campus Club. The 120-unit community features three- and four-bedroom fully-furnished apartments that include washers and dryers. Property amenities include a resort-style pool with hot tub, 24-hour fitness center, game room, clubhouse, computer lab and a basketball court.
Both properties are planned to undergo extensive renovations scheduled to commence this fall. Interior refurbishment will include a stainless steel appliance package, wood-style flooring and carpet, modern furniture, flat-screen TVs, enhanced cabinetry, counters and finishes. Campus Club will receive a $7 million revamping and more than $2 million will be invested in Gateway at Glades.
