Atlanta—Peak Campus Management has been selected as property manager for The Clubhouse, a new 758-bed student housing community serving University of Louisville students. The property will offer bed-to-bath parity, with a mix of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom floor plans. Located one block from campus, The Clubhouse is expected to be ready for occupancy in fall, 2015.

Luxurious finishes including in-unit washer/dryers and granite countertops will be the hallmark of The Clubhouse. The property will also offer high-end amenities, including a 24-hour fitness center, resort-style swimming pool, five tanning beds, and a game room offering air hockey, shuffleboard, billiards table and video game consoles.

Students will also be able to make use of a computer center, study lounges, grilling station, fire pit and sun deck, as well as bike racks.

“We are excited to be back in the Louisville market,” Jessica Nix, vice president of marketing for Atlanta-based Peak Campus Management, tells MHN. “We have a strong record of success managing student housing properties in this market. We had a couple years of operational experience for one asset. That sold, and now we’re back in Louisville managing The Clubhouse.”

The company’s goal is to position The Clubhouse as the premiere off-campus student housing in Louisville. “It’s an incredible community with a great variety of student amenities,” Nix says. “But our location is the most exciting feature. We’re across the street from campus, particularly the football stadium. And I’m confident that students will agree that this is a great place to live, learn and play.”

Bob Clark, president of Peak Campus Management, says the company is delighted to bring its platform back to Louisville, a market where the company has had substantial experience and great success.

“We are looking forward to bringing a high level of execution on behalf of our new partners,” he adds. “We are confident that the product, coupled with Peak Campus’ management strategy, will do well in creating a world-class housing option for students at the University of Louisville.”
