Peak Campus Expands

Maria Filippone, director of marketing; Monica Morgan, director of sales and leasing; Amy Bonnell, director of training

Atlanta—Peak Campus recently announced three strategic staffing moves, including the hiring of Maria Filippone as its new director of marketing, the promotion of Monica Morgan to director of sales and leasing and the promotion of Amy Bonnell to director of training.

Filippone’s main responsibilities will be to develop, establish and implement marketing strategies to meet company and business unit objectives. Filippone will work closely with Peak’s vice president of marketing to ensure the overall development, execution and success of the national marketing and leasing platform. Maria began her career at Bell Partners, served as the director of education and marketing at Pinnacle, and most recently was the marketing manager at Greystar covering the state of Florida prior to joining Peak Campus.

Morgan will interface closely with the company’s operating group, vice president of marketing, and vice president of training & operations support to establish and direct short and long-term sales and leasing strategies. Morgan has been active in student housing management for more than 14 years, and in that time has held several positions both on-site and corporate support. Her most recent role with the company was regional manager, with oversight of a multi-state student housing portfolio.

Bonnell will help to facilitate the company’s comprehensive training program, as well as provide leadership to Peak’s National Training Specialist team. Bonnell has played an integral role in Peak Campus’ training programs and projects, including Peak’s Internships Program and employee growth initiatives. Bonnell joined Peak eight years ago and started her career as a part-time leasing consultant at a Peak Campus property.
