Parc Communities LLC made its first foray outside of the Atlanta area, with Parc at Traditions, which is scheduled to open this fall and will offer independent living, assisted living and memory care services. The 159-unit luxury community in Bryan, Texas, marks the company’s third owned and fifth developed community.
“We are attracted to special locations, and our unique setting in Traditions has allowed us to design a community that is a worthy complement to our distinctive brand of hospitality-enriched senior living. What makes Parc at Traditions a truly singular opportunity are our relationships with the newly-opened CHI St. Joseph MatureWell Lifestyle Center and the neighboring Texas A&M Health Science Center. Considered leaders in our respective fields of senior lifestyle, research and education and senior healthcare delivery, Parc Communities, the Texas A&M Health Science Center and MatureWell Lifestyle Center are uniquely positioned to collaborate in areas that directly impact the lives of seniors, including lifestyle and wellness programming, education, research and care delivery,” Parc Communities Executive Vice President Andrew Slavin told MHN.
Located at 3095 Club Drive on a 14-acre, wooded site, the community will feature 91 independent living, 44 assisted living and 24 memory care units. Independent living one- and two-bedroom floorplans range from 705 to 1,204 square feet. Studio, one- and two-bedroom assisted living floorplans vary in size from 312 to 695 square feet. The senior living developer, owner and operator broke ground on the development in November 2015. Rogers-Obrien Construction served as the general contractor for the project, which Three Living Architecture designed.
Ritz-level service
Parc communities provide Ritz-level service, according to the motto “ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen,” as the company’s culture is built upon service standards created by Horst Schulze, the former president of Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. Parc at Traditions is collaborating with the newly-opened 23,000-square-foot CHI St. Joseph MatureWell Lifestyle Center and the neighboring Texas A&M Health Science Center to enhance senior wellness and quality of life. Parc residents will have the opportunity to engage with students and faculty of the Texas A&M Health Science Center and with the care staff at the MatureWell Lifestyle Center. The community will provide wellness programs and cultural, educational and recreational events, as well as a 24-hour concierge service.
Community amenities will include a grand lobby, living room and library featuring fireplaces and outdoor terraces, multi-purpose theatre rooms, arts and activities studios, card and game rooms, wellness center, aquatic center with heated salt water lap pool, full-service beauty and barber salons and a variety of indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. Dining options include an elegant full-service dining room, an inviting lounge to a casual fare bistro and al fresco terraces.
The property is situated across the street from Traditions Golf Club and within minutes of Texas A&M University, Mays Business School, Easterwood Airport and the Texas A&M Research Park. The asset is a 5-minute walk from the Lake Walk Town Center and less than two hours northwest of downtown Houston.
Tradition Senior Living LP has also recently chosen Texas as the location of its first venture outside of Dallas: the 316-unit senior community in Houston is slated for completion in late 2018.
