On Location: Whispering Creek Villas San Antonio, Texas

Whispering Creek Villas is a beautiful oasis nestled in San Antonio’s breathtaking hill country. This vibrant city boasts unrivaled culture, cuisine, architecture and residents who have refined the art of celebrating the outdoors. True to the city culture, property manager Amabel Zak tells us that Whispering Creek Villas focuses on offering luxury resort-style living. “Our lush landscaping, beautiful pool and outdoor hot tub, as well as the state-of-the-art fitness center and indoor sauna, are all wonderful amenities. We also recently added a gorgeous outdoor kitchen for residents to entertain family and friends.”

The mission of Hawthorne Properties is to instill a “Live It” culture in every staff member. Their highest priority, Zak explains,
is “responding to the needs of our residents efficiently and effectively.” This level of service brought back former resident Roger Gauvreau. “I first moved to Whispering Creek Villas in 1998. Later, I went through a divorce and found myself in the market for an apartment once again
in 2010. This time with my daughter in tow, I decided to rediscover Whispering Creek. The moment I was shown the floor plan I knew it was
exactly what I was looking for. The staff really do care about the community. I certainly would recommend Whispering Creek Villas to anyone seeking an apartment community.”

When asked what she enjoys most about her role as community manager, Zak passionately states, “I really enjoy connecting with the residents, sharing their success stories and being there for them when they’re having a tough day. Sometimes they just need an ear to listen or a hug. My team improves the living experience of our residents by giving exceptional customer service, and I enjoy praising them for their commitment to being the best!
