Fort Worth, TexasKWA Construction started work on Lang Partners’ 327-unit residential development in Fort Worth’s Hospital District. The roughly 280,000-square-foot apartment community was designed by JHP Architects. The two five-story, wood-frame structures are going to be built on two separate blocks, West Rosedale and Oleander Street, and will be connected by a bridge across Seventh Avenue.

“The construction of Lang Partners’ Oleander Apartments will be transformational for the Medical District due to the impressive design and the additional option of high-quality housing for those working and serving in the neighborhood, as well as those looking to be near the Magnolia Entertainment District,” Brian Webster, executive VP of KWA Construction, said in a prepared statement.

The sky-bridge will also provide a connection with common amenities which will include a clubhouse, a pool and a six-level, concrete parking garage. Monthly rents will range from $1,100 to $2,800. The area is home to many high-income employers and popular entertainment options.

The total amount invested in the project is estimated to more than $52 million, according to Fort Worth Business. Lang Partners was granted $1.2 million in funding from the tax increment finance district, also for public right-of-way and easement improvements, utility work and streetscape improvements. Construction is scheduled to end next summer.
