Costa Mesa, Calif.—NWP Services Corporation (NWP), a provider of utility cost recovery and management solutions to the multifamily housing industry, has released a mobile portal for its Resident ePay service to allow for fast and easy access to residents who wish to pay their rent and or utility charges from a mobile device.
The Resident ePay mobile portal may be accessed and bookmarked from the monthly rent email reminder sent to the resident’s email address. Residents will be able to view, schedule and process payments, thereby having the same payment options currently available to them via the web site based service with which they are already familiar. The mobile site is viewable on all major browsers including IE, Safari, Chrome and Firefox.
“NWP clearly recognizes that in today’s world of electronic commerce most people prefer to do their personal business on the go and usually from their mobile device. Resident ePay will make paying rent from anyplace at any time totally convenient,” stated Michael Radice, chief executive officer of NWP. “The Resident ePay mobile site is just the most recent mobile friendly technology we’ve rolled out this year. Within the last few months, NWP has also launched mobile friendly sites at nwpresident.com and nwpsmart.com proving our dedication to provide the most user friendly, efficient, secure and intuitive platforms available for our customers and their residents.”
NWP has been validated as compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) as a Level 1 service provider for the fifth consecutive year. Trustwave, the leading provider of PCI DSS compliance management solutions, performed the validation for all payment platforms for NWP. Additionally, NWP proactively tests its internal and external networks, as well as conducting an annual SSAE 16 Type II audit to validate that all NWP products and services have sufficient financial controls to protect sensitive customer data.
“Identity theft, privacy and payment fraud are critical concerns in today’s world,” said Rob Grable, security officer and vice president of information technology and systems for NWP. “Portfolios who select NWP as their provider can have the confidence that their e-commerce platform is compliant with established security best practices and that they are protected from any related issues.”
