Irvine, Calif.—NWP Services Corporation has completed implementation of a new telephony system from AT&T utilizing MPLS technology.

AT&T’s voice services offer solutions supporting high-volume calling from multifamily property managers and are integrated with Exchange 2010 and NWP’s billing, payment and utility management solutions. The platform simplifies NWP’s ability to maintain its network and enables rapid deployment of services and mobile technologies consistently.
Charles explains that this technology is important because as NWP delivers more services, it needs to make sure all the systems are fully integrated.
“Perhaps the most important aspect of AVPN is CoS. Class-of-service functionality allows NWP to prioritize the importance of various forms of traffic over our network at any given time of day,” Charles says. “For example, at peak hours when voice may be the most important type of traffic for customer service, it can be prioritized at a higher level than, say, internal email. Similarly, video can be prioritized at a peak time for a specific video streaming or video conferencing application, ensuring optimal network performance.”
Ultimately, the new global IP and voice network technology will benefit for NWP’s clients in the multifamily industry.
