KWA Construction broke ground on Firewheel Senior Living Residences, a 154-unit high-end senior living community in Garland, Texas. KWA is building on behalf of Seneca Investments. Designed by architect David Kirch, the project is scheduled for completion by the end of next year.
Oversized ballroom for residents
Located at 5151 N. President George Bush Highway, the asset will sit near the Firewheel Golf Park. The four-story building will feature stainless steel appliances, LED lighting and wood cabinets. Additionally, the community will also offer an oversized ballroom with a kitchen, buffet station and private dining area. Outdoor amenities will include a salt water resort pool, two courtyards, grilling stations and a dog park.
“Having built numerous senior developments in the DFW area, KWA has seen the level of amenities continue to skyrocket in recent years. From its fitness center to its salt water pool, KWA expects Seneca’s Firewheel Senior Living Residences to stand out amongst Garland’s senior living communities,” KWA Construction President Brian Webster said in prepared remarks.
Earlier this year, KWA expanded its team by appointing Tayloe Call as executive vice president.
