New Hyatt Place Opens in Tijuana, Mexico

Tijuana, Mexico–Hyatt Place Tijuana opened in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced recently. The new property is the fourth Hyatt Place hotel in the country, joining Hyatt Place Cuidad del Carmen, Hyatt Place La Paz and Hyatt Place Los Cabos, which has been damaged in Hurricane Odile last autumn but will reopen after a series of renovations.
The new Tijuana facility is an upscale, select service hotel designed with multi-tasking travelers in mind. Located on Agua Caliente Boulevard, the building is easily accessible from the Zona Rio business and financial district. The hotel is also 15 minutes from Tijuana International Airport and the route from the United States Port of Entry takes less than 10 minutes. Popular destinations within easy reach from the site include the Agua Caliente Race Track and Casino, the soccer stadium Estadio Caliente, and the Club Campestre Tijuana country club, as well as a selection of restaurants and retail.
The seven-story building includes 145 rooms with dedicated in-room work spaces and separate sleeping areas, swiveling 42-inch TVs, plush beds and numerous other luxury features. The hotel also offers a 24/7 Gallery Menu & Market on site, which includes an all-day-dining restaurant, freshly prepared entrees and appetizers along with on-the-go salads, sandwiches, sweets and bottled beverages. A range of specialty coffees and premium alcoholic beverages are available too in the Hyatt Place brand’s own Coffee to Cocktails Bar. The 24-hour business center is equipped with wireless printers that can be used from anywhere in the hotel. Two meeting rooms with a total of more than 1,770 square feet of flexible, meeting and function space are also available. Daily breakfast, parking and Wi-Fi access are complimentary for guests.
