New Apartment Community Slated for Suburban Nashville

Cool Springs, Tenn.—Crescent Resources has unveiled plans for Crescent Cool Springs, a 252-unit multifamily project in Cool Springs, Tenn., which is a part of metro Nashville, in Williamson County. Construction is slated to start in the summer.

The 13-building apartment community will be village-like in design, according to the developer, with elements that offer an urban feel. The three-story residential buildings will feature one-, two- and three-bedroom units, and residents will have access to tuck-under garages.

The property will include a fitness center, a salt-water pool, poolside and remote grilling stations and fire pits. Also as part of the property, there will be a two-story clubhouse, designed to be reminiscent of an old warehouse, that will offer such touches as wine lockers, a toasting table, catering kitchen and lounge with media equipment.

The architect for Crescent Cool Springs is Cline Design, while the civil engineer is Littlejohn Engineering and the interior design is by Vignette. Fifth Third Bank provided the construction loan.

Crescent is no stranger to this part of Middle Tennessee. Since 1998, the company has developed nine commercial properties in the area, and in 2009 began its Greenway Center development. One Crescent Greenway, which was the first spec LEED-certified building in Tennessee, was completed in 2010, and Crescent next will develop the adjacent Two Greenway Center.

The company is also at work on other residential properties in the area. It has just started construction on Lockwood Glen, a master planned community three miles south of Cool Springs in Williamson County.
