MRI Software to Enhance Its VaultWare Reservation System’s Integration with Yardi

Cleveland—MRI Software announced today that it has signed an agreement with Yardi to create an officially supported integration between MRI’s VaultWare Apartment Reservation System and Yardi. The enhanced integration, built on the MITS 4.0 schema, will allow MRI VaultWare clients to smoothly send guest card information to Yardi, eliminating the need to manually enter guest card information from VaultWare reservations into their property management system.

The VaultWare Apartment Reservation System is the leading consumer-focused apartment reservation and content syndication solution for the multifamily market. The system helps property managers augment their online marketing efforts with a robust and highly configurable apartment availability and reservation portal that can be integrated into their online advertising sources, website and mobile website platforms to enable apartment hunters to find and reserve an apartment online. Prospective residents can view current and accurate pricing, check availability of apartment units, reserve a specific unit online, and even pre-qualify for their apartment from the comfort of their home, workplace, or mobile device. The system boasts integrations with the industry’s most pervasive property management systems, the most highly trafficked Internet Listing Services, and the most commonly used credit screening providers. Last year, more than 15 million unique apartment hunters used VaultWare to find their ideal apartment.

“In the 18 months since we acquired VaultWare, MRI has focused on enhancing and solidifying tighter integrations between VaultWare and our own core multifamily property management software and vendors in our Partner Connect program,” said David Post, CEO of MRI Software.

“With this new integration with Yardi, VaultWare clients will be able to take advantage of many of the benefits previously only available to MRI Residential Management customers.”

The integration continues MRI’s focus on providing true best-of-breed capabilities amongst its Resident Lifecycle suite of property management, accounting and marketing solutions. MRI recognizes that reliable third party integrations are critical to the rich and diverse ecosystem of multifamily real estate management. Property managers and owners have complex and varying needs for solutions that complement their unique property management operations and processes, and can integrate with MRI’s core property management software to enable reliable transfer of data between MRI and their third party software. Further, when clients desire solutions that are outside of MRI’s core competencies, MRI’s Partner Connect program ensures clients can select those preferred vendors to integrate with their MRI system. Development work has already begun on the integration, which is expected to be available to VaultWare Reservation System clients in early Fall 2013.
