Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts Celebrates the Opening of its Fifth Property in Dubai
With the launching of the Mövenpick Hotel Apartments The Square on January 20, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has become the first international hotel company to operate a property in Dubai’s elegant district of Al Mamzar.

Dubai—With the launching of the Mövenpick Hotel Apartments The Square on January 20, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has become the first international hotel company to operate a property in Dubai’s elegant district of Al Mamzar.
Located close to Al Mamzar Beach Park, Deira and Bur Dubai, and just 10 minutes away from Dubai International Airport, the new hotel is a central choice for business, leisure and long term guests.
Moevenpick Hotel Apartments The Square offers 180 superior and deluxe rooms, as well as one- and two-bedroom serviced hotel apartment suites. The units are appointed with comforts such as wireless internet access, large flat screen TVs, kitchenettes and business amenities. Furthermore, guests have access to a contemporary all day dining restaurant called The Spices, a rooftop swimming pool, a fitness centre and four well-appointed meeting venues with natural daylight and garden views.
The property has also received the ‘Deluxe Hotel Apartments’ designation from the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, the highest standard of hotel apartments in Dubai.

Owned by Town Square Investment LLC, the hotel is part of a mixed use arabesque-themed community complex called Dubai The Square. The project comprises residential buildings, extensive gardens, water features, apartments, office space and a retail area.
Moevenpick Hotels & Resorts operates four other properties in Dubai, including Ibn Battuta Gate, Jumeirah Beach, Bur Dubai and Deira. In 2012, the group’s portfolio in the city achieved an average occupancy rate of 86 percent. Later this year, the company will open a sixth property in Dubai called Jumeirah Lake Towers.
