MORGAN Welcomes Residents in Houston
The luxury multifamily developer has just opened two of its newest communities near Houston's CityCentre and Memorial City.
Houston—Upscale multifamily developer MORGAN has opened two of its newest luxury communities, Pearl CityCentre and Pearl Residences at CityCentre, in Houston. The communities are across the street from each other at 10401 and 10402 Town & Country Way, and are in close proximity to shopping at CityCentre and Memorial City, as well as employment in the Energy Corridor and WestChase District.
The communities also offer a unique rental opportunity, MORGAN Executive Vice President Carter Bechtol told MHN. “These projects are located in one of the strongest single-family submarkets in the city, and will provide a luxury rental alternative to a predominantly owner-occupied single family neighborhood,” he said.
The seven-story Pearl CityCentre offers 311 one- and two-bedroom units ranging in size from 650 to 1,500 square feet. An average unit size is 950 square feet.
For those looking for larger units, the eight-story Pearl Residences at CityCentre offers 148 one-, two- and three-bedroom units ranging in size from 750 to 2,500 square feet. The average unit size is more than 1,500 square feet.
Both communities offer MORGAN’s luxury Pearl amenities, including open floor plans and high-end finishes. Pearl Residences offers KitchenAid appliances and hardwood floors as well. The properties also offer amenities like a cyber cafe, business center, athletic club, and swimming pool with private cabanas. Residents also have access to a sky lounge and shuttle service to nearby City Centre.
“We designed Pearl CityCentre and Pearl Residences to appeal to a wide range of renters, from young professionals to empty nesters, who want an upscale all-inclusive environment,” said MORGAN Executive Vice President Carter Bechtol. “Since MORGAN launched the premium Pearl brand in 2013 with the opening of Pearl Greenway in Houston’s Greenway Plaza, we’ve seen demand grow for the type of luxury amenities we provide. I’m proud to say that this new Pearl development really delivers on the brand’s premium promise.”
MORGAN began construction on the two properties in 2014 and were originally scheduled to open in fall 2015. Wells Fargo provided construction financing for the two communities and Wallace Garcia Wilson Architects designed them.
MORGAN is keeping busy with the start of construction on Pearl La Floresta in Brea, Calif. in January and plans to start developing Pearl Midtown 29 in Miami in the second quarter. The company also opened Pearl Woodlake in Houston in December 2015 and owns a total of 12 multifamily communities in the Houston area.
