Houston is showing resilience, despite slowdown
Despite recent headwinds, Houston’s multifamily fundamentals remain solid, with prospects for a stronger outlook next year, Chris Curry, senior managing director of Investment Sales at Berkadia told Multi-Housing News in a recent interview.
Houston was among the top ten markets for multifamily deliveries in the first half of the year, according to a recent ranking by Yardi Matrix. A total of 3,910 units were completed during this time, which represented a 1.5 percent expansion of existing stock.
