The company began with four locations in Alabama, Florida and North Carolina, including The Hamlet at Wildlight, and has plans for 36 additional projects under contract or in its pipeline. In addition to its SFR properties, Middleburg has acquired and developed more than 22,000 apartment units since its founding in 2004. The firm has plans to start construction on nearly 2,700 units in 10 communities throughout the Southeast this year.
