Megalith Capital Management Adds New SVP
Matthew Lobron will focus on the firm’s residential and commercial ground-up development activities, after serving various roles at Zeckendorf Development and Extell Development Co.
Megalith Capital Management has selected Matthew Lobron as its newest senior vice president of development. In his new role, Lobron will oversee development activity for the firm’s major residential and commercial projects.
Throughout his career, Lobron contributed to the completion of properties totaling more than 3 million square feet. Some of the most notable ones are 50 United Nations Plaza, 520 Park Ave., Riverside South and Carlton House, all in New York City.
From 2012 until joining Megalith, Lobron served as senior vice president at Zeckendorf Development. Between 2006 and 2012, he worked at Extell Development Co. as vice president of development. The company is currently building the world’s tallest residential tower. He launched his career at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp.’s Project Finance Group.
Lobron received a B.S. in business administration from Georgetown University and holds an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
“Matt’s experience with top-tier New York City development projects will be a valuable asset to Megalith as we move forward in the coming years,” Megalith CEO & Founder Sam Sidhu said in a prepared statement.
