Meeks + Partners-Designed Elan City Centre in Dallas Completed
Greystar's newest Dallas development has opened. The asset was designed by Meeks + Partners and features luxurious amenities and modern floor plans.

Dallas—The Dallas Galleria area’s newest Greystar development, Elan City Centre, has been completed. Designed by award-winning multifamily design firm Meeks + Partners, and situated on Galleria Drive in Dallas, the contemporary apartment community features luxurious amenities and modern floor plans.
The 330-unit, three-story property features a mix of one- and two-bedroom units, as well as town homes. Also offered are a covered garage and surface parking. Each town home will feature a direct-access garage.
Residents will occupy one of the most prominent locations in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex, and will benefit from convenient access to shopping and dining, as well as to the Dallas North Tollway and the LBJ Freeway.
What made this the right time for Elan City Centre? “The lot changed ownership multiple times over the past 10 years,” Meeks + Partners partner Ryan Meeks tells MHN. “M + P actually worked on a few of the design schemes during that time. Greystar was able to seize the opportunity to purchase the lot, and we then designed a new product type achieving a solid density.”
Apartment homes include a number of upscale designer features, including granite countertops, brushed nickel hardware, mosaic tile backsplash, eye-catching lighting, oversized garden tubs and stand-up showers.
Amenities include a saltwater pool with outdoor zen lounge and grilling areas, as well as an exclusive club lounge area with athletic club, tanning spa, gaming/media area, private conference room, coffee bar and gourmet kitchen.
Exterior finishes include stone, wood and metal accents, with brick and fiber-cement siding.
“This project was the first multifamily development built in the City of Farmers Branch in quite some time, [so] the city and Greystar felt a strong need to get it right,” Meeks says. “This desire kicked off a successful collaboration that led to what we see standing today. We were able to work with them to design a community that would benefit the city and one we could both be proud of.”
From the attention placed on the amenity spaces to the actual floor plan designs, Meeks + Partners incorporated an urban, sophisticated feel in Elan City Centre.
“M + P sought to achieve a sophisticated, modern look to mirror the urban lifestyle of Galleria living,” Meeks says.
“The location sets a higher standard of amenity-rich living, with high-end shopping, world-class dining and a vibrant cultural scene.”
Given its mix of unit sizes and types, Elan City Centre should appeal to renters wanting prime location with easy access to some of Big D’s major byways, Meeks says.
“It is an upscale product type located directly on 635, designed to offer renters the ability to live the Galleria lifestyle with plush amenities and strong architectural finishes.”
