MBK Rental Living Breaks Ground on Upscale San Diego Community
MBK Rental Living has announced that it has broken ground on its first project, Ocean Air Apartment Homes at Torrey Hills, in the northern San Diego neighborhood of Torrey Hills. The high-end community will include 100 for-lease townhomes and flats on a 4.6 acre parcel.

San Diego, Calif.—MBK Rental Living, the newly launched division of MBK Homes, has announced that it has broken ground on its first project, Ocean Air Apartment Homes at Torrey Hills, in the northern San Diego neighborhood of Torrey Hills. The high-end community will include 100 for-lease townhomes and flats on a 4.6 acre parcel.

They bring with them proven expertise and an exceptional track record in the San Diego Market.”
The Summa Architecture-designed building will include a Mediterranean-inspired façade with three-story townhomes and flats that will be built to condominium quality. The units range in size from 1,067 square feet to 1,630 square feet with units up to three-bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathroom, some of which will include a loft option.
Aside from the ocean and city view offerings, standard units will include private decks or patios, 9-foot ceilings, upgraded stainless steel appliances, granite countertops in the kitchens, as well as stone slab countertops and round soaking tubs in the bathrooms. Other unit features include energy-efficient, full-size washers and dryers, tankless water heaters, USB charging outlets in the kitchens and flat-panel TV connections in the living room.
The amenities package is comprised of a sunset lounge with outdoor kitchen and fire pit, community barbecues, a pet washing station and an automated package delivery system.

Located within San Diego’s Golden Triangle, specifically off of Interstates 5 and 805, the community will offer its residents convenient access to major employers such as Oracle and Qualcomm, US Bank and Scripps Health, as well as schools within award winning school districts such as Del Mar Union and San Dieguito Union. UC San Diego is also a short drive from the location.
Other recreational offerings in the area include the Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve and the Torrey Pines Golf Course, a public course that hosted the 2008 U.S. Open.
Leasing at the community is expected to begin in fall of this year.
