Marcus & Millichap Arranges Luxury Condo Sale in Chicago-Area
The community comprises six buildings, each of them made up of 12 two-bedroom, two-bathroom units. Firethorne Luxury Apartments changed hands for $8.3 million, in which the buyer and seller were both represented by investment specialists at Marcus & Millichap.

Marcus & Millichap arranged the sale of a new apartment community in Saint Charles, a submarket of Chicago. The 72-unit Firethorne Luxury Apartments changed hands for $8.3 million.
Ryan Engle, an investment specialist with the company, marketed the listing on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company. The buyer, a private investor, was procured and represented by Andrean Angelov, also an investment specialist with Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago office.
The property is located at 1350 Brook St. and consists of six buildings, each of them being made up of 12 two-bedroom, two-bathroom units. Property amenities include a swimming pool, a sundeck, a tennis court and a large open parking. The community is within a short walk from several dining venues on Main Street. Each apartment is of approximately 1,000 square feet in size and comes with a balcony or patio, a fireplace, an in-unit washer and dryer, an intercom security entry and an adjacent garage.
Saint Charles, Ill. is easily accessible via Randall Road, Route 31 and Route 64. It is approximately 40 miles from Chicago’s downtown area and 30 miles from the O’Hare Airport. Marcus & Millichap also facilitated the sale of a Nebraska property for $10 million earlier this month.
