Luxury Senior Community Opens in Virginia

Partners Sage Development Group and Bourne Financial Group have officially opened Harper’s Station Yorktown, a 158-unit luxury senior community in Yorktown, Va. SRI Management will manage the property, marking its second community in the state.

The joint venture broke ground on the project in 2022. EMJ Construction served as general contractor.

Harper’s Station Yorktown comprises independent living, assisted living and memory care units. The 161,000-square-foot community encompasses one- and two-bedroom floorplans ranging between 653 and 953 square feet. Amenities include a fitness center, an indoor swimming pool, a wellness spa, a chapel, a bistro, a media room, craft and game rooms, a beauty salon and outdoor activity areas.

Services provided include staff available 24/7, assistance with daily tasks, medication management, special medical visits, 24-hour emergency response systems and respite care. Housekeeping, maintenance, concierge, restaurant-style dining and scheduled transportation are also available.

Situated on some 9 acres at 4501 Victory Blvd., Harper’s Station Yorktown is near U.S. Route 17, providing direct access to downtown Newport News, Va., located 4 miles away. A Walmart Supercenter, Riverside Rehabilitation Hospital and an abundance of dining options and green spaces are within a 1 mile-radius.
