Woodfield Investments opened The Passage, an apartment community with 240 units in Summerville, S.C. Pre-leasing activities are already underway. CF Real Estate Services, a multifamily real estate firm based in Atlanta, will manage the asset.
Located at 100 Underwood Drive in Summerville, roughly less than 30 miles from the beaches and resorts of Charleston and the Atlantic coast, The Passage is minutes away from major employers such as Daimler Chrysler, Google, Verizon or Volvo, as well as schools and several dining options.
The only studio floorplan in the submarket
The Passage includes studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom units. The property also features a dog park, horseshoe pit, bocce ball, open-air cabanas, a fitness center and a saltwater pool. According to Yardi Matrix data, the property used to be known as Woodfield at Carnes Crossroads.
“This community provides the lifestyle that the professionals who have come to work in this growth market expect to live. The businesses that are operating in Summerville are attracting a professional who is looking for a different level of luxury,” said Woodfield Investments Development Partner Brian Schick, in prepared remarks.
