“One of the most unique aspects and major appeals of Cassa Grove is that it is a transit-oriented, new build in Coconut Grove,” Sebastian Barbagallo, P B Developments’ principal, told MHN. “Because this particular type of property has not yet existed in the area, it will largely appeal to the young-professionals who work in Brickell, Downtown, or Civic Center who want to commute via the train, as well as students from the neighboring University of Miami which is only two train stops away.”

Cassa Grove’s apartments range from 652 square feet to more than 1,300 square feet, with a commercial component of approximately 4,000 square feet. The community will offer a variety of luxury modern amenities within the building including, an infinity-edge pool, semi-private entertaining areas, gazebos, pet-grooming stations, a fitness center and a recreational lounge. Additionally, Cassa Grove will provide its telecommuting and student residents with a shared work area.

The direct connection to the Miami Underline will also allow residents access to a place where they can exercise and enjoy art and other recreational activities in a safe outdoor environment.

“All the developers involved are always looking for projects that have a unique proposition to them and respond directly to the community’s demand as certain societal changes such as urban living, less reliance on cars, utilization of public transportation and sense of community, become more prevalent,” Barbagallo said. “Increasing employment in Brickell, Downtown, and Civic Center has generated a demand for more urban living with access to mass transit and recreational areas, while still being detached from the chaos of the immediate city core.”

Cassa Grove is within walking distance from Coconut Grove’s renowned restaurants, shops and art galleries, providing a true urban experience for residents.

“Coconut Grove is one of Miami’s most unique neighborhoods, mixing traditional aspects with the contemporary flair all punctuated by the glistening waters of Biscayne Bay,” Barbagallo said.

Construction on the project is slated to commence in spring 2017, with completion in fall 2018.
