LMC Breaks Ground on Chicago-Area Community
The eight-story project in Elmhurst, Ill., is expected to welcome its first residents in January 2021.

LMC has broken ground on The Fynn, a 212-unit apartment community within the Elmhurst City Centre in the Chicago suburb of Elmhurst, Ill. The eight-story midrise is expected to be welcome its first residents in January 2021.
The project is located at 183 N. Addison Ave., less than 3 miles from Interstates 290 and 290 and about 15 miles west of downtown Chicago. The community will provide studios and one- through three-bedroom apartments ranging from 565 to 1,745 square feet, in addition to two levels of below-grade parking. Interiors will have upscale finishes including large windows, quartz countertops, under-cabinet lighting, oversized tubs and, in select units, wine refrigerators.

Community amenities will include a sky deck terrace, poolside cabanas, clubroom with a fire hearth, fitness center and indoor/outdoor dog run, along with digital package lockers and a bike lounge. The project is located a short walk north of the Elmhurst Metra station, which provides a 30-minute express train to the Windy City’s downtown.
The Fynn marks LMC’s seventh multifamily project in the greater Chicago area, with other communities developed by the subsidiary of Lennar including The Marlowe (Chicago), The Emerson (Oak Park) and The Brook on Janes (Bolingbrook).
