Lincoln Pointe in Aventura

Just north of Miami, in Aventura, Fla., Lincoln Pointe recently unveiled an award-winning $1.8 million renovation inspired by the interiors of the
upscale yachts that frequent the local waterways. According to Property Manager Nadine Welch, the renovation has been positive for resident retention. “The residents really enjoy the new amenities which include a new pool area. We always acknowledge birthdays with a special email. To start off 2012, we did a ‘New Year, New You’ event,” which was complete with memberships and day passes to a nearby fitness club, appearances from a personal trainer, as well as complimentary massages.”

Resident Trudie Plunket says, “The staff and the clubhouse are just the best that I have ever known. We have get-togethers and barbecues, and it’s just wonderful. Nadine always has a smile and is always happy to see you.” Plunket initially heard about Lincoln Pointe through the Internet. Once she visited the community, she “didn’t really want to look around anymore. It was quiet, just three stories—not a high rise—it’s a little bit more private, and I always wanted to live right on the water.”
