Life Care Services Tapped to Manage $215M FL Senior Housing
The 42-story Riverwalk Residences of Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale will include 401 units, on-site doctors, physical therapy and adult daycare.
Ocean Land Investments has tapped Life Care Services (LCS) to provide development consulting, management services and marketing for its $215 million Riverwalk Residences of Las Olas, a high-rise senior housing project in downtown Fort Lauderdale, Fla. LCS Development will provide the consulting and Life Care Services will provide the marketing and management.

Riverwalk Amenities
Located at 333 N. New River Drive E., the 42-story tower will comprise 401 independent living, assisted living and memory care units designed by Borges Architects + Associates. Construction of the community is set to begin in spring 2019 and is scheduled for completion by summer 2021. Features of the project include a green area and indoor/outdoor plaza on the ground floor, as well as a sky garden at the tower level that showcases a “tree of life.” Residents will have access to on-site doctors, physical therapy and adult daycare. Amenities will include restaurants, a rooftop bar, a full-service spa, a fitness center, an outdoor pool, hotel rooms, a gourmet market on the ground level and valet parking.
LCS has been very active in managing Florida senior housing developments. The company was also tapped to manage the $82 million Windsor at Celebration, a senior housing community in Celebration, Fla., which is currently being developed by Big Rock Partners. The property will comprise 239 independent living, assisted living and memory care residences, and is set to open this spring.
