Legacy West Master Development Gets Hospitable with New Renaissance® Hotel

Autumn started with a groundbreaking ceremony in Plano, Texas. The event marked the start of construction on a new Renaissance® hotel, with an opening date set for early 2017.
The 15-story, 304-guestroom hotel is part of the new 250-acre Legacy West master development. The luxury property will include more than 100,000 square feet of conference and meeting space and will feature a lobby, restaurants, an outdoor bar terrace and a third-floor amenity deck with a swimming pool, bar, spa and fitness center. the hotel will also offer 470 parking spaces for guests in an attached parking garage.
The general contractor for the project is Alabama-based Brasfield & Gorrie, and HKS Hospitality Group serves as the architect for developer Sam Moon Group. Other team members on the development include Looney & Associates, Blum Engineering, Brockett/Davis/Drake Inc., Bancorp South and Jones Lang LaSalle Inc.
