In all, Legacy took home the most awards of any finalist.The association presents these awards every three years, Betty Knecht, AAMD manager of special events, tells MHN. This year, Knecht reports, saw record numbers both of entries and attendees at the awards ceremony, held at the Colorado Convention Center.Pat Hutchison, vice president of Legacy’s Denver regional office, tells MHN, “The foremost reason Legacy won was due to the amazing team members who are a part of our company. They strive everyday to achieve our mission statement, which is ‘to be the most respected provider of real estate services to our clients, tenants, residents and owners.’ Team members displayed exceptional professionalism in the interviews that were conducted by the many judges.”Furthermore, Hutchison credits Legacy’s training program and open-door policy, which allows team members to express their ideas and concerns at all times, as other elements of its success. “Also, Legacy has many team members who have worked for the company for many years; they feel that they are a part of an organization that recognizes their value.”Legacy’s Palomino Park Resort in Highlands Ranch, Colo., won three awards, including Most Captivating Curb Appeal, Strongest Fitness Center and The Most Captivating Clubhouse. Palomino Park Resort consists of 1,184 apartments in three distinct villages surrounded by mature landscaping, winding streets and abundant open space. Residents enjoy numerous amenities available at the gated Palomino Park Resort, including The Colorado Club, a private clubhouse and recreation center.The company’s Lincoln Place Apartments in Loveland, Colo. won two awards–Best Marketing Theme and The Cosmopolitan Award for Best Mixed-Use and Sustainable Design. Lincoln Place features 200 luxury apartment homes, arranged in a mix of three and four stories above 22,000 square feet of retail space and a multilevel parking structure. It is the largest urban infill, mixed-use project in northern Colorado.The company’s Dakota at Governor’s Ranch in Littleton, Colo. won the award for Most Outstanding Community Team for a Small to Medium Community. Located 10 minutes from the Rockies, the community features townhome-style floor plans and is close to shopping, restaurants and parks.Legacy Partners staffers also took home a variety of individual awards. Most Outstanding Service Supervisor went to Peter Bindewald of The Lodge at Willow Creek; Most Outstanding Community Support Personnel went to Joyce Causer, Legacy’s regional floater; Most Outstanding Project Manager went to Todd Bowen, Legacy’s regional maintenance director; and Most Outstanding Marketing or Training Professional went to Bevan White, Legacy’s marketing and training director.Legacy Partners Residential owns and manages a total of 5,258 apartments in 17 communities throughout Colorado.
