Lee & Associates Adds South FL Principal

A few days after adding Josh Simon as president of the Washington, D.C./Northern Virginia division, Lee & Associates has hired Alex Pappas as principal of the South Florida branch. Pappas will establish the multifamily institutional sales platform, focusing on multifamily and mixed-use development investments. He will also be responsible for the advisory and disposition of stabilized multifamily properties throughout the region.

Pappas has more than 25 years of real estate experience in the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa. During his career, he represented institutional clients such as Alliance, Bainbridge, Camden, The Related Group, Stiles Residential, Trammell Crow, Wood Partners and ZOM.

Before joining Lee & Associates, Pappas was an investment advisor with Florida Capital Realty. In this capacity, he represented developers in site acquisition for multifamily, hospitality and retail projects in the South Florida market. Pappas’ international experience includes the position of CBRE’s EMEA portfolio valuations advisor in Copenhagen. He has a B.A. in marketing from the University of South Florida.
