LeCesse Development Corp. has broken ground on The Sarah at Crescent Park, a 252-unit multifamily community in Orlando, Fla. The developer’s financial partners, Fifth Third Bank and Red Cove Capital, will provide debt and preferred equity, respectively.

Dynamik Design provided architecture services, while Kimley-Horn serves as civil engineer and Roger B. Kennedy Construction as general contractor. Delivery is expected in late 2024.

Upon completion, the property will encompass five buildings with one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans. The community will have a fitness center, a swimming pool, a playground, a game room, a movie room, pet parks, a lakeside lounge and coworking spaces with private offices. Apartments will feature stainless steel appliances, walk-in closets and smart home features such as voice-controlled lights and Wi-Fi-enabled thermostats.

The development site is close to Interstate 528 and Semoran Road, which provide easy access across the Orlando metropolitan area. The Sarah at Crescent Park will rise in an area with several dining options, retail centers and entertainment venues. Oracle’s Orlando campus, Orlando’s VA hospital and UF’s medical center are also nearby.

Since its founding in 1952, LeCesse has developed more than 20,000 units across the U.S. In September, the firm broke ground on the second phase of a 481-unit community in Malta, N.Y.
