KWA Construction has topped out on Atlantica at Burleson, a 217-unit luxury project in Burleson, Texas, designed by Womack + Hampton Architects. The community is slated for completion next summer.

Developer Sovereign Properties secured financing for the project at the end of last year. Western Alliance Bank provided a $31.2 million construction loan, according to Yardi Matrix.

The three-story building is set to feature one- to three-bedroom units, 58 storage units, carports, an eight-bay garage and a seven-bay bike storage. Plans also call for an outdoor gaming lawn, a café, a fitness studio, a swimming pool and grilling areas.

Located at 285 SE John Jones Drive, the building will span across 296,175 square feet on the southern edge of the Dallas-Fort Worth metro. The community will be across the street from several retail, entertainment and dining options such as Kroger Marketplace and Burleson Premiere Lux Cinema. Target and Home Depot stores will also be within walking distance of the upcoming property. Downtown Fort Worth is less than 20 miles away via the adjacent SW Wilshire Boulevard.

Formerly known as Reed Parke, the development marks the first collaboration between Sovereign Properties and KWA Construction. Sovereign Properties is also developing a community in North Richland Hills, Texas. The 306-unit Millennium at Hometown is being built using a $49 million refinancing loan
